Apartment inside an old church. Beautifully converted church. Close to shops and pubs. Due to the in-building situation there is not much daylight.

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable, it is situated at the top of a very steep hill so maybe not suited for less mobile people, parking was relatively easy always found a space near. I would recommend this apartment and would stay again

Lovely apartment, gorgeous decor, great location in Matlock. A bit of a stroll for parking. Great real ale bars on the road above the church. We had a great time and we would recommend.

Fantastic stay in the property and would recommend to anyone as a base for exploring the Peaks. We liked the propertys architecture and hill-top location and there is a great pub round the corner.

A stunning and beautifully appointed apartment which is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable and having 2 bath/shower rooms is a bonus. Theres a couple of local bars very close by but we didn't find eating places near, only down the hill in the town. The walk back up the hill to the propertyRead more can be quite a challenge!!! No parking on site but relatively easy to park in the surrounding roads. Would definitely recommend to fit friends!! Hide

Interesting property architecturally. Well appointed and no or very little noise from the neighbours. If you want a pint and an evening meal, without walking down into the town centre, then the Sycamore Inn and The Duke of Wellington are worth a visit.

Lovely, well maintained apartment at the top of Matlock. Well equipped and very helpful owner. Main downside was location. Tricky parking unless you were happy with a steep walk. No real views of local area and it very much felt like an apartment rather than a holiday let but cannot fault the high standard of cleanliness, decor and equipment.

We had such a lovely stay at this converted chapel. It was impeccably clean, a lovely kitchen and very comfortable beds. The hill to the centre of town is absolutely fine for people with moderate fitness. We didnt find this a problem at all. Also, the parking was always possible down the side streets.
