Come together with friends and family to this spacious holiday retreat full of character and stylish fixtures and fittings providing the perfect base to explore the Peak District National Park.

This super stylish and spacious property is situated in the popular village of Cromford, just on the edge of the Peak District. A group of eight explorers will love this spot with walking routes and cycling trails right from the doorstep. The house has its own private hot tub too, ideal for evenings soaking away after a busy day discovering all the area has to offer.

Cook up a storm and socialise together in the well-equipped kitchen. This beautiful space has a breakfast bar where you can gather to plan the day ahead, and a wine fridge, perfect for chilling those bottles for when you return home. If the cold nights start to draw in, fire up one of two warming wood burners in the contemporary lounge or luscious dining room and take a seat on the comfortable chairs and sofas. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a stunning bathroom with freestanding copper bath. The fourth bedroom with en-suite shower room is situated in a converted outbuilding. The garden is a fantastic space, with a patio, BBQ, outdoor seating and a large eight-seater hot tub. It’s an idyllic spot for relaxing after dining alfresco.

Leave the cars behind and head out on foot along the various routes that lead from this property. Discover the area’s rich history by taking a stroll along the Cromford Mill and Village walking route. High Peak Junction visitors centre is 0.5 miles away and where lots of the area’s walks start from. Join the famous High Peak Trail that leads along the old railway line and takes in the stunning Derbyshire Dales countryside - a perfect cycling route. Alternatively, take the short, steep climb to Black Rocks (1.5 miles) an outcrop offering up superb views.

Lovely house, smart and homely. Kitchen area was our focus and the hot tub! We had a lovely couple of days relaxing and dog walking.

Fantastic house, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. Hot tub was most welcome. Right on the edge of a trail and a few minutes walk down to Cromford Mills and the town. Secure courtyard for dogs and children to play. Just needed more storage for clothes, boots and coats.

This is a lovely house and we enjoyed our time in Cromford. However the house is marketed for 8 people and the only place 8 can sit comfortably is in the dining room. There is no hanging space in the conversion and only one wardrobe to share between 3 bedrooms in the house. Great parking for numerous cars. Kitchen is well equipped.

Beautiful house, great location for visiting the area. Bit noisy by the A6. Lovely furnishings, kitchen and bathroom, loved the hot tub. Somewhere to dry towels, swimsuits and coats rather lacking. Fabulous property which has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great kitchen and enclosed courtyard safe for the dogs which is sunny all day. Annexe is ideal if travelling in a group.

Great option if you want to meet up with family and friends with multiple dogs! Great location with walks from the door and easy access to pubs, shops and restaurants in Cromford. Property is recently renovated so great condition throughout. Hot tub is an absolute bonus and the enclosed courtyard is sunny and sheltered.

What a great find. A lovely well appointed cottage which was just perfect for celebrating our daughter's birthday. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

On arrival the heating was on and the cottage was immaculately clean, felt so welcoming. Kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed and the dining room was lovely to sit and eat together. Great location, though pretty noisy from all the nearby quarry lorries thundering up and down on the A6. Layout great with hot tub in rear garden and all enclosed for your pets. Small annexe/bedroom with shower and TV was great for the not so mobile of the group, only downside was the bed was pretty hard and lumpy in the middle as some of the underRead moreneath slates missing. The propery was lovely but as previous comments also felt a few tweaks would make it 10/10 Considering its an area getting on out walks the house had little to no storage for clothes, coats, boots and shoes. Bins and mirrors in all the bedrooms would have been a lovely touch. The house is beautiful, perfect location for exploring the local area. We loved it but felt a few tweaks would make it 10/10! We had a great time at this holiday home. The hot tub made our evenings so much more relaxing after some very long dog-walking days over the Peaks. The rooms were ample and very well maintained and quite luxurious. and the beds are very comfortable. The location was super, with hills and walks right on our doorstep.

Great location for dog walks from the door in stunning woodlands (but house is right next to busy / noisy A road) Lovely bathrooms / kitchen (but property rather dark inside) Good spot to explore the Dales, and Cromford itself is really great. Couple of issues on arrival, quickly sorted out.

10/10 for a fabulous property. All modern appliances, very dog friendly. Beds were so comfortable. I suffer with a bad back, but no issues at all. Cleaning products available and dishwasher tablets. Lawn area is a great size. We did not use though as the patio area was suffice t for our needs. You are on the main intake lane walk which leads to higRead moreh peak trail.
