A lovely cottage with living accommodation and kitchen upstairs and sleeping, bathroom and separate dressing room downstairs. Spacious and well equipped in a delightful and peaceful location about 1 mile outside Tideswell. It is very central for trips to Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton and Edale. It is also ideal for visits to the Derwent Valley museumRead mores and mills and for the great stately houses at Chatsworth, Hadden and Hardwick. Fantastic cottage, full of character, style, but also modern! Everything had attention to detail and was very chic. It was equipped with everything needed. Location excellent for exploring the peak district. The host was very friendly and nothing was too much to ask.

We spent a week in this cottage in the middle of January. Everything about it was perfect for us. The location means that there are walks right from the door and places to visit and eat are not far away. The cottage itself is beautiful, very comfortable, warm and cosy. Hands down the best holiday rental I've experienced. Enjoyed a 3 night stay as a treat for my 50th. Gorgeous location for a selection of walks through a varied and beautiful part of the Peaks. Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Perfect for a couple. Kitchen equipped with all the common items. Broadband not bad at 13m/bit. There is a Smart TV that has Netflix and Amazon Prime to make use of it - don't forget to log out at the end of your holiday! Very comfortable in general. Thoughtful provision of USB-A charge ports on the Read moresockets by the bed and sofa. The Derbyshire Dales are wonderfully scenic. The walking is excellent. This cottage has a homely feel to it . It has everything you would need. The bed and duvet are wonderful so cosy. The cottage is set in wonderful countryside, with the lovely village of Tideswell close by. The owner was very friendly and helpful. A perfect holiday cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Wheston. The cottage has been restored and furnished to a very high standard with lots of thoughtful extras - herbs outside the front door, lavender bags in the wardrobe etc. The local produce supplied was very welcome!
