Perfect holiday cottage. Clean, comfortable and the owners seem to have thought of everything you might need away from home. Generous welcome pack of wine, juice, butter, bread, cake, tea coffee etc. Good position for touring Peak District and a bonus...very cool in a heat wave. One if the best we have stayed in.

Clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped holiday cottage. A plentiful welcome hamper and good and easy contact with owner who was quick to respond when we had a query. Excellent position for exploring the Peak District. Some early morning noise from traffic passing the front of the cottage, and main bedroom, however a rear facing bedroom Read morealso available. Parking OK, opposite cottage on narrow lane, which did get busy at times. Overall a great stay. Hide

Conveniently located terraced house. Stone's throw from 2 excellent pubs, just off the Peak Forest Tramway Trail (cycling route) and many walking routes start in the village. Comfy, clean and quiet. Had all amenities needed for a holiday in the Peaks. In theory could be base for a car-free holiday as walking distance from Chinley Station (Hope VallRead moreey Line). Hosts provided bread, eggs, milk, butter and cake which was much appreciated as we arrived too late in the evening to go to shop. Hide
