We spent Christmas 2023 in this charming and spacious house. It is decorated to a very high standard with a modern and contemporary look, and everything the visitor needs for a pleasant stay. This was a deceptively large property close to the shops, bars and restaurants and within easy reach of all the local attractions, which suited all of our needs. This was a lovely cottage, perfect location for a family holiday with good nearby amenities for pubs/shops. Great open plan living downstairs and very well equipped for cooking if required. Very clean with lovely bathroom. We would be happy to return.

Stayed for my 21st birthday and it was perfect. The cottage itself was stunning - very clean, tidy and spacious and the little added touches made it so welcoming. Location was great, plenty of on-street parking and close proximity to the walks with plenty of coffee shops and pubs around the cottage. We walked Mam tor and went to Castletown for the Read moreday - both were only a short drive away. I would definitely recommend and will be coming again :) Hide

Great weekend in the Peaks. The house is stunning, very well looked after and had everything we needed. Did miss a dishwasher and washing machine though. Spacious rooms, beautiful decor. Walking distance to Morrisons and town. We managed to park outside the property all weekend. Hope to visit again.

Beautiful place. The kids felt very much at home. All the creature comforts were provided for. On arrival we were greeted with lovely welcome gifts and being so close to Christmas, the house was decked out with the Christmas vibe! There is a Morrisons about 3minute walk away which was very helpful. Top location! Would definitely recommend.

What a super little cottage which packs so much in! Great open living/dining space & plenty of room for 6 adults. Really great well equipped kitchen & bathroom. Loved the little touches like a bottle of wine, cookies & porridge sachets. Face cloths in the bathroom & plenty of loo roll. Immaculately clean throughout. Beds really comfortable & great Read morepillows too. Town is easy to reach on foot (5 mins walk). Rems Caf has fantastic tapas. The Old Cell for beer, gin, rum, games & real fire. Perfect! Hide

The house is lovely & a lot bigger than we were expecting. Its got pretty much everything you need (except washing machine which we missed when reading the details on the website). The garden is small & very overlooked but we didnt use it while we were there. Its situated in a great area with easy access to all the nearby attractions.
