Kick off muddy boots in the hallway and pad through to the light-flooded lounge where you can curl up on the armchair with a fresh brew or rest up weary feet and sink onto the comfortable sofas. Throw open the doors leading to the diner and gather around the large bench-style table with pre-dinner drinks to debrief on the day’s events. Whip up a storm in the stylish handless kitchen with tiled flooring and open the patio doors to embrace breezy indoor-outdoor living. Retreat upstairs to the tranquil sleeping areas consisting of a large super-king with in-built storage, an airy twin, and a spacious loft room with a king-size bed and a reading corner. Unwind in the enclosed patio surrounded by mature foliage and recline on the wooden outdoor furniture with an al fresco aperitif.

Luxury townhouse in a quaint village. We loved it and felt so comfortable, and were sad to leave, wish we had booked a longer stay! Lots of walks in the area and even just around the village. The children enjoyed the nearby park and playground. If it had a washing machine and dishwasher would be perfect for longer stays.

Ivy Lodge is an excellent place to stay, well-equipped and beautifully maintained. It is spacious and comfortable, with a quiet courtyard garden. Decent shops in Chapel are close by and the Old Cell is a fun place for a drink. Dont miss going up to Eccles Pike.

Stayed for my 21st birthday and it was perfect. The cottage itself was stunning - very clean, tidy and spacious and the little added touches made it so welcoming. Location was great, plenty of on-street parking and close proximity to the walks with plenty of coffee shops and pubs around the cottage. We walked Mam tor and went to Castletown for the Read moreday - both were only a short drive away. I would definitely recommend and will be coming again :) Hide
