Stay in a beautiful property in an elevated position for a memorable escape to one of the Peak District’s prettiest market towns, ideal for a couple or young family. Wirksworth is packed with imposing stone buildings, narrow lanes, yards and alleys. Rich in heritage, dramatic scenery and boasting an annual Wizarding Day, there is plenty for you to explore before returning to this attractive apartment full of contemporary comforts.

Walk into a welcoming and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner decorated with tasteful furnishings and flooded with natural light. The comfortable corner sofa is the perfect spot to relax after a day out exploring and adventuring with your favourite movie or box set playing on the Smart TV. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up memorable meals throughout your stay. The dining table is perfect for reliving the day's activities. Head upstairs where you will find a king-size bedroom with a big picture window and an en-suite shower room. Outside is a paved area with bench seating for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the view.

The Gateway to the Peaks, Matlock Bath, is less than a mile away, where you can test your head for heights by taking a cable car ride on The Heights of Abraham and see magnificent Matlock from above. For visitors big and small, there are plenty of attractions to visit and famous landscapes to explore nearby; imagine climbing at Black Rocks (1 mile) or walking the circular route through the nearby forests. Head to the start of the High Peak Trail (1 mile) for 16 miles of traffic-free walking or cycling adventures. A very good location for exploring the dales. Particularly liked the secure parking and the fact there was a very good co-op straight across the road.
