Head to the famous Peak District town of Bakewell (5.5 miles); purchase one of the famous puddings and then enjoy one of the many walks, including to Chatsworth House, where you can discover the extensive grounds and gardens. A lovely woodland and wildlife-rich meadow walk can be found at National Trust Padley Gorge (12 miles), or head to Hathersage (13.5 miles) for a challenging hike along Stannage Edge.
