The perfect place for exploring both the wonderful Peak District or vibrant shopping places in Sheffield, (16 miles) there are also three pubs all within a mile, a shop and a fish and chip shop all on your doorstep. Situated in the heart of Hope Valley, the stunning landscape of Castleton is just over 3 miles away, with Treak Cliff Cavern, Speedwell Cavern and Peak Cavern all here to explore. There are also quaint shops and cafe's pubs and restaurants in this pretty part of the world. There are even some cinema and concert events held within the caves at Peak Caven throughout the year including the infamous Xmas carol concerts. Eyam is 6 miles away, with its morbid and fascinating plague history, it is also a very pretty Derbyshire Village to explore. The spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell, and the stunning Chatsworth House and Gardens are all within 10 miles. Sitting perfectly in the Peak District National Park, there is walking and cycling on your doorstep, with the property boasting cycle storage inside the secure garage.

Walking into the property there is a hallway and downstairs WC, before you enter an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This is a great space for gathering to enjoy your time in this stunning property. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped to whip up all those family dinners. There are board games provided to ensure that all parties can be entertained during their time at this property. There is a flame effect electric fire and Smart TV in the lounge to create that perfect evening ambience. Moving upstairs there are three very good sized and well put together bedrooms with plenty of storage and space. The master king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is a second bedroom with a king-size bed and a third bedroom with twin single beds. Upstairs there is also a snug, where a desk offers a working space with a screen available to plug in a laptop, and a PlayStation 3 and Smart TV offer a space for people to play and relax away from the main living area. Completing the first floor is the family bathroom. All together a spacious and well thought out property, with lots of spaces to relax, play, gather or spread out, offering you a wonderful place to enjoy.

The rear garden is enclosed, with outside dining and BBQ for those alfresco moments. A games room leads off from the garden, with a football table and air hockey for everyone to enjoy. The garage/utility can be accessed from the games room or front of the property.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Ottilie. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for you stay. A well equipt kitchen, fully enclosed garden and spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. The games room and snug room were a great edition, as well as the games cupboard too in the living area. Loads of lovely walks from the property and the villRead moreage loaction is beautiful. A fish and chip shop and lovely pub that serve great food and shops all within a 5 minuets walk of the property. Hide

A beautiful cottage in a great location- many exhilarating walks nearby. It has everything that could possibly be needed for a holiday and more. Highly recommended.

This is a very welcoming and comfortable property, fully kitted out with everything you would need. It is in a wonderful location for walking, biking and touring the locality. The games room was good fun. Having a Kia Niro EV, we found the facility for charging at the property really useful.
