Set on the edge of the Peak District National Park on the owner’s farm, this charming stone-built cottage is the perfect retreat for families and groups travelling with their pooches. With countryside all around, this is the ideal location to embrace nature and forget about every day life. Walkers and cyclists can benefit from the many trails from your doorstep, as well as the local pubs and shops in the nearby village of Crich (1 mile), which also plays host to the National Tramway Museum. Other towns and villages to explore include Cromford (5 miles), Matlock (5 miles) and Matlock Bath (6 miles). Keen walkers and outdoor-loving pups will no doubt enjoy the endless adventures on offer in the Peak District National Park (7 miles) which plays host to some of the UK’s most incredible scenery.

Boasting plenty of character, the enchanting cottage starts with a sociable dining room where guests can enjoy meals cooked from the well-equipped and spacious kitchen. The welcoming lounge is the perfect spot to relax and gather at the end of a day in the elements, made extra cosy by the log burner for your dog to snooze in front of. Guests can also make use of the ground floor shower room that adjoins the property’s first bedroom – a cosy bunk for any little ones to retreat to. Upstairs are the three remaining bedrooms that all feature charming wood beds and views of the surrounding greenery – two king-size bedrooms and a twin room. Completing the first floor is a family bathroom for all to make use of.

The outside space offers wonderful views of the countryside all around which can be enjoyed from the secluded lawn. Patio furniture allows for meals to be enjoyed alfresco style, while the inviting hot tub is a great way to relax the body after a day’s walking.
