A characterful cottage, tucked away in the lively Holmfirth region, serving as a gateway to the northern reaches of the Peak District. This area features notable scenic walks like the expansive Wessenden Reservoir (6 miles), scenic Butterley Reservoir (5 miles), and the enchanting Folly Dolly Falls (1 mile). Visit the local village of Slaithwaite (2.5 miles) and experience a plethora of eateries and access to walks along the Huddersfield narrow canal to the famous Standedge tunnel. Wessenden's strategic location provides convenient access to Hebden Bridge (18.5 miles) and Holmfirth (4 miles), known for their lively atmospheres and culinary scene, and the cultural treasures of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (14.5 miles). Visit Bradford Industrial Museum (20 miles), providing a fascinating insight into the mechanisation of the textile industry, with working steam engines and textile machinery. Venturing further afield, hop on a train from Huddersfield and visit Leeds (20 minutes) or York (60 minutes), both vibrant and exciting cities with plenty to see and do.

To your right, the vibrant lounge invites you in with its colourful decoration, along with a Smart TV and comfortable seating, set around a characterful fireplace for relaxing evenings in. At the end of the hallway awaits the well-equipped kitchen, with its modern amenities yet retaining its original stone fascias, adding a touch of character charm. Heading up the stairs, a striking exposed stone feature wall alludes to the property’s history. Upstairs, you'll discover three tastefully decorated bedrooms – a double and two singles – providing comfortable accommodation for guests. Great property in convenient location to visit Manchester, Leeds, Peak District and lots of other fab locations. Property has been nicely refurbished. Good Indian round the corner and close to supermarket and pubs
