A charming property within 3 miles of Castleton, a beautiful village at the head of Hope Valley. Enjoying easy access to the Peak District National Park's many famous towns and visitor attractions, the dog-friendly property features a cosy lounge, a large kitchen/diner and a small patio garden.

The deceptively spacious two-storey property is surrounded by breathtaking countryside in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Each of its inviting rooms are decorated in soothing tones with contemporary soft furnishings at every turn. Accessed via patio doors at the rear, the interior begins with a cosy lounge featuring sumptuous seating arranged around a wood burner, while the large kitchen/diner beyond has a breakfast bar and underfloor heating. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom and super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom offer peaceful and versatile sleeping quarters, with the convenience of a family bathroom with underfloor heating across the landing. There are two patio areas at the property, the one at the front featuring seating, flower borders and a hot tub.

The Peak District National Park is a haven for walkers, cyclists, foodies and history lovers keen to sample its wide range of natural, cultural and historical attractions. We enjoyed our stay at Brough cottage. It is within easy driving distance of Castleton and Hathersage. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. We liked the hot tub which had pretty views but it is rather close to a busy road.

Nice cottage in a lovely location. Unfortunately the hot tub is not completely private as it is on view to passing walkers and cars

Lovely cottage in an ideal location. We stayed Easter weekend with our two children aged 8 and 12 and really enjoyed it. The cottage was beautiful, clean and well stocked with equipment. The hot tub was also a bonus which we really enjoyed.
