This family-friendly cottage is set in a tranquil village in the Peak District and has plenty of space for six friends or a family along with two dogs. Set over a single storey and boasting two outdoor areas, you will enjoy relaxing at this home after busy days exploring the area.

Leave your walking boots in the hallway and head into the open-plan lounge/diner, this is a bright and airy space during the day, and a cosy retreat at night. Fire up the wood burner and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The dining area has a six-seater table, and a door that leads through to the kitchen. Whip up meals for all occasions in this spacious and practical area. Back through the hallway, you will find doors that lead to the three bedrooms, two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom completes the interior of the accommodation. Outside, there are two gardens to enjoy, one to the front which is fully enclosed and has two seating areas where you can dine alfresco. At the rear of the cottage is a second garden space, a smaller area where both the dogs and children can safely explore. Driveway parking for four cars is available.

The village of Great Longstone has a couple of pubs and a handy village shop, so you will find everything you need within just 500 metres. Head further afield to the popular town of Bakewell (3 miles) which sits on the River Wye and is known for its famous Bakewell pudding. Near here, you will also find the historic Chatsworth House and Gardens (5 miles). Please note any dog owners that this property has not got an enclosed garden. It has a flimsy gate at the end of the driveway and determined dogs could always get through the hedge in the garden as well. The best part of this property was where it was located. Very convenient for lovely walks and the village is really nice with a convenient villageRead more shop. Hide
