A 0.5-mile stroll brings you to the centre of Buxton and its fantastic array of independent shops and eateries. Enjoy relaxing strolls through the colourful public gardens, or perhaps spend a tranquil afternoon at one of the town’s famous spas. Days out from the cottage include the world-famous show caves and caverns in Castleton (10.5 miles) and the spectacular stately home and gardens at Chatsworth House (15.5 miles).
