The nearest town, Wirksworth, is 3 miles away and here you will find lots of picture-postcard buildings and narrow lanes full of history. There are also plenty of attractions including the Wirksworth Heritage Centre, The Northern Light Cinema and Bar, plus Alport Height – perfect for a romantic picnic with a view.
The property is set out all on one level. You enter the open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen with a vaulted beamed ceiling. Take a seat on one of the leather sofas, light the wood burner and settle in for a night in front of the TV/DVD. A compact, modern, fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for a self-catering stay, while a table and four chairs offers the perfect spot to dine. The next room is the cosy bedroom with a wooden king-size bed, built-in hanging space and a chest of drawers. You then have the shower room with a spacious shower cubicle and WC.
The garden is a wonderful place to relax, with a lawn and table and chairs. The surrounding scenery is tranquil and full of nature.
