Stunning landscapes surround this hillside home, just 7 miles south of Buxton. Pet-friendly, the property has pretty cottage styling, while all-weather appeal comes courtesy of its wood burner, sunroom and garden gazebo. Enjoy scenic hikes from the doorstep or simply stroll to the riverside inn less than 300m away. Private parking for two cars means friends or family can arrive and unload in leisurely fashion. Follow the stone path and step down to enter the cottage through a handy utility room where you’ll find laundry facilities and space to store all your outdoor gear. Beyond, the kitchen has painted cabinets and a rustic dining suite. Step up from here into the lounge; located at the front of the cottage, its large windows frame lovely views, while a choice of traditional-style seating is arranged before the wood burner and TV. Lap up more of the scenery from the sunroom to the side of the cottage – with glass walls and a dining table, it’s fabulous for food, drinks and far-reaching valley views. Upstairs, the cottage has two dreamy double bedrooms and a family bathroom. In warmer weather, move from the sunroom to the garden and enjoy al fresco refreshments beneath the gazebo.
