Only 3.5 miles in the opposite direction is the large village of Tideswell with its 'Cathedral of the Peaks' church, cafes and inns. The surrounding scenery as you travel along the lanes to the village feature a patchwork of stone walls and fields, magnificent dales and sparkling rivers. The nearest town is Bakewell, just under 7 miles away. The centre offers plenty of shops to browse, plus eateries and relaxing places to walk. It’s also famed for its delicious Bakewell Pudding.
