The lovely village of Brassington has a wealth of walks nearby and a choice of welcoming pubs and restaurants. Harboro Rocks is just a mile away, a popular spot for clay shooting. Just 2 miles away is the beautiful Carsington Water, a large reservoir which makes a fantastic spot for a variety of activities including cycling, water sports and birdwatching. Other attractions include the Heights of Abraham, Gulliver’s World, Throwley Old Hall, Magpie Mine, Thor’s Cave, Crich Tramway Village, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House, all within 14 miles.

This delightful cottage features a cosy lounge with an oak floor, exposed ceiling beams and a wood burner set in a stone fireplace, providing a lovely spot for everyone to get together and unwind. There’s a fresh, light dining room with a beautiful, tiled floor, a second wood burner and a traditional table, alongside a stylish kitchen which has a quarry-tiled floor and plenty of bespoke units. The ground floor also has a handy WC. Upstairs, you will find a refreshing family bathroom and three bright, relaxing bedrooms: a charming double, a sweet single and a lovely twin which can be made up as a super-king-size on request.

Going outside, the fully enclosed back garden has a barbecue and outdoor furniture, and makes a delightful spot for a glass or two of wine in the evening.

We absolutely adored this property. Was definitely a home from home for us. Was in a lovely quiet village which we loved. Property had everything you could possibly need and all beds were super comfy!
