Beautiful cottage - so welcoming and cosy. Karen the property manager was very welcoming & helpful. Nothing is skimped on this property - it was warm, well equipped snd beautifully furnished. Plentiful firewood and a lovely welcome pack. We had a wonderful week here and if visiting the Peaks again Id definitely stay here.

This cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We loved the rugs provided in the bedrooms and lounge for extra comfort if needed - though we found it very comfortable indeed. It is probably the best equipped cottage we've ever stayed in - and there have been many. We also enjoyed the tasteful pictures, ceramics and light fittinRead moregs, giving it a feeling of luxury. The games room was also a big hit. The extra luxury of a heated towel rail was great. Hide

We had a delightful stay in this beautiful cottage. It was exceptional and well placed for exploring the local area. During the times the weather was particularly poor, we were happy to relax in the cottage and enjoy the peace and solitude.

I loved this cottage - the location is lovely, its quiet and has views, but its close enough to get around the Peak District - The house is very well done up, and the bedrooms and bathroom in particular are top hotel quality (and beds were very comfortable) plus the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. I will definitely return.

Very clean and spacious. Games room good. 20 min from a few small towns and heights of Abraham so good base. 35 mins from Alton towers due to all the windy roads.

As you will see from our ratings, we were delighted with this cottage but please see the following suggestions to improve it further. We noticed that the rug under the dining table was curling at the corners which could have been a trip hazard and we suggest that this is replaced in keeping with the high standard of the other furnishings. We woulRead mored have appreciated a toast rack and noticed that this was mentioned in the visitor's bookas well. Otherwise it was very well equipped. Hide

We absolutely loved this cottage. The location was amazing - remote, so you felt you were properly in the countryside, but only 2 mins drive away from more major roads which then got us easily to every location in the Peak District. The location was one of the very best weve had in the UK. The property was absolutely amazing. It had lots of equipmeRead morent you dont normally find in properties like tons of toilet rolls and kitchen roll, bin bags & washing up liquid. Even kitchen foil! The kitchen was lovely to cook in and had everything you might need. There was also an insulated cafetire which came in handy, and an ice cube tray in the freezer. We loved the log burning fire in the lounge and the tv had access to Netflix and BBC iplayer which we appreciated. We had many happy evenings snuggled up watching TV. There was also a sun room which was lovely to sit and relax (we were pretty lucky with the weather). The children loved the table tennis in the games room, and there was plenty of room several cars on the driveway. The showers had great water pressure and all the bathrooms were to a very high standard. The beds were large and comfortable and the cottage was very spacious. There were plenty of amazing pubs serving wonderful food in nearby towns and villages. We would definitely come back again. Hide
