Explore the former spa town of Buxton and enjoy the beauty of the Peak District when you stay at this welcoming apartment. Set on the first floor, the one-bedroom bolthole sleeps two guests and enjoys the convenience of being just 0.5 miles from the heart of the historic town, with its many shops, restaurants and cafes. The apartment, which is set within the owner’s grounds, enjoys great privacy. Guests staying here can relax out in the sunshine on a bench beside the pond.

Let yourselves in, sliding your shoes or walking boots off in the entrance before climbing the stairs to your main accommodation. Open the door to your open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has a lovely wooden floor and an inviting appeal to make you feel right at home. Head over to the kitchen to unpack any local provisions you have sourced in town and put the kettle on for a cup of tea to enjoy with a slice of the freshly baked Derbyshire ginger cake you have bought. This compact space also includes everything you will require to help you whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners for two during your stay. Spend your evenings watching your favourite shows on TV. As eyelids begin to close, wander through to the king-size bedroom for a great night’s sleep. The apartment also includes a shower room where you can treat yourself to a steaming rinse after your adventures. Carry morning coffee down to the bench beside the pond on fine days and look out for wildlife. There is private parking for one car.

Stroll 0.5 miles to the Pavilion Gardens to enjoy the elegance, colour and fresh air. Visit the 2,000,000-year-old natural limestone cave of Poole’s Cavern, 1.5 miles from the apartment. Alternatively, see the famous Chee Dale Stepping Stones, 5 miles away.

We had a great time in Buxton. The apartment was perfect for us, very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for the week. Its situated in the owners lovely garden, a few minutes walk from the town centre, so within easy reach of supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Buxton is a great base for touring Derbyshire and the town Read moreitself is well worth exploring. Well definitely book the apartment again on our next trip to the Peak District. Hide

First class accommodation situated in a perfect place to visit all of the Peak District. Hosts were very welcoming and approachable. Would recommend this property .

Fantastic location for exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. The accommodation is perfect for a couple and very well equipped in every room.

This is our second visit and the apartment suits us very well, spotlessly clean and a few minutes walk into Buxton .Plenty to see and do and hundreds of different types of walks. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and easy to chat to. Looking forward to our next visit next year around April or May.

That was a definite five-star accommodation for me during my stay in Buxton! The cosy apartment was perfectly clean and with great quiet location. The host couple was very friendly and helpful, I would return any time.
