Escape to this idyllic and romantic bolthole with your loved one to this rural retreat in the rolling Peak district countryside. Boasting a fabulous garden space with lovely views, and a roaring wood burner in the lounge where you can warm up during a relaxing evening in.

Step through the front door and into the cosy living room. Here, you will find comfortable seating where you can either curl up together or lay back with your feet up. Make use of the roaring wood burner on chilly evenings and flick on the Smart TV or listen to music on the stereo. Beyond the lounge is a practical, well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to create delicious meals, and a handy dining table for eating at. Upstairs, set underneath a beamed ceiling, there is a spacious bedroom with a sumptuous king-size bed, two chairs where you can sit and look out over the countryside views, and a stylish en-suite bathroom. The bathroom contains a calming walk-in shower, and a bath for soaking away the day. Outside, the wonderful cottage garden is a welcome spot where you can sit on the bench and sip on a morning coffee or evening tipple. Private parking is provided for one car.

Set in a rural spot in the Peak District National Park, there are an abundance of scenic walking routes right from the doorstep. Head into the nearby village of Eyam (1 mile), made famous as being the quarantine spot during the Great Plague in 1665. Grab a bite to eat at one of the pubs or cafes before climbing the moors. Visit the exceptional Chatsworth House and Gardens (7.5 miles) which has activities and events all year round.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Very well equipped kitchen with milk, bread and a Bakewell tart waiting for us. Fire already set in the stove. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Brilliantly located for the Monsal Trail, Ashford in the Water, Chatsworth House etc. Highly recommend.

The cottage was a pleasure, and provided everything that we needed. Its in a very peaceful and beautiful location offering many walking possibilities from the door, and there are plenty of interesting places within a short drive. Dont miss Tissington and Haddon Hall.
