Head into the nearby village of Eyam (1 mile), made famous as being the quarantine spot during the Great Plague in 1665. Grab a bite to eat at one of the pubs or cafes before climbing the moors. Visit the exceptional Chatsworth House and Gardens (7.5 miles) which has activities and events all year round.
