Enjoy the superb space and sunlight offered by this sizeable, single-storey holiday home in Derbyshire. Sleeping eight guests, the three-bedroom, dog-friendly cottage is situated near Hackney, 2 miles from Matlock and 1.5 miles from the Peak District. Ideal for families and groups of friends, it has a wood burner to toast beside during the colder months and a large garden where you and your four-legged friend can enjoy the sunshine.

Make your way inside to discover just how much space you have to spread out into. Head through to the light-filled kitchen/diner to unpack the fresh Derbyshire produce you have bought and prepare a feast for your group. Dine together at the table in here then carry fresh coffee from the machine through to the conservatory to enjoy as you look out over the garden and absorb the views. While away evenings in the lounge together, playing games or watching movies on the Smart TV. All three bedrooms here are super-king size. Two have zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as twins by discussion and there is the option of adding a single Z-bed to two bedrooms to make them into family spaces. There is a family bathroom and a family wet room. Light the BBQ and dine out in the fresh air on sunny days. Look out across rural Derbyshire while the children and pets play on the grass. There is private parking here for two cars.

Head into vibrant Matlock to potter in the shops, dine out and stroll through Hall Leys Park, with its boating lake. Plan a trip out to the famous Heights of Abraham, 3.5 miles away, with its beautiful, wooded country park that is reached by cable car.
