An attractive two-storey cottage in the village of Bonsall is perfect for couples or small families seeking a relaxing base from which to explore the scenic Derbyshire countryside. Bonsall itself is a welcoming and picturesque village with local shops, a cosy cafe, and friendly pubs. No trip to the area is complete without a visit to the Heights of Abraham (3.5 miles) and a ride on the cable car to breathtaking views over the Derwent Valley. Nearby historic Cromford Mills (2.5 miles) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.

Step into this light and spacious property and instantly feel at home in the chic open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. This lovely living space invites you to unwind, you can sink into the plush seating, read or watch a movie together on the Smart TV. The kitchen area has all the necessary appliances to cook up a storm, while the dining area offers glorious views over rolling fields. Ilam Park, Dovedale and White Peak ((16.5 miles) is a must-visit, where you can explore the park, nature reserves and woodland, with wildflowers and wildlife to enjoy.

Lovely modern cottage with a fantastic view and great location to see the many attractions in the Matlock/Bakewell area. The hot tub was a real luxury.

Peaceful and very rural location, lovely hot tub! Lounge space inside is a bit tight for four adults if the weather doesn't allow use of the patio!

The cottage was marvellous, an absolute gem. We cannot praise the owners enough for the level of home comfort. The views were enchanting, morning, noon and evening. The finishing touches within were great and there was nothing further we required. Hot tub was wonderful. Although we felt slightly too much chlorine? The cottage was extremely well set out and equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay break. Its lovely, warm and cosy and really felt like a home away from home but with far better views! I will very happily stay again

The propety was outstanding based on other properties we have stayed in. Cleanliness was second to none and location couldn't have been better for our visit. The owners who lived next door were very friendly but didn't invade our privacy during our stay.

Absolutely lovely accommodation, views exactly like online gallery. Two lovely meals at the Barley Mow pub. Walking distance but a bit more challenging walking uphill on way back after meal and some beer. Lots to do in surrounding area and good walk from Brumlea cottage
