Up to four guests can stay in this countryside escape with far-reaching views of the Peak District National Park from the garden. This quirky property with a contemporary feel throughout is perfect for a nature-filled break in the East Midlands while still having plenty of town amenities on your doorstep.
Inside this homely bolthole is a blue, wooden and black kitchen/diner with a ‘U’-shaped fitted kitchen unit. There’s plenty of surface space for cooking a hearty homemade meal, which you can enjoy at the round, chic dining table for four. Downstairs from here is a cosy twin room plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Climb a few steps up from the kitchen and you’ll reach a lounge area with a mezzanine-style bedroom above it. Tones of blue, white and grey fill the space with wooden furnishings and a high, vaulted ceiling. Colourful, contemporary hanging lights brighten the lounge area with a comfortable sofa and an armchair in front of the TV and a woodburner-effect electric fire. Stairs lead to the bedroom, which features a double bed and an armchair by the low window. Outside is a garden with a lawn, patio and furniture. There is private parking for three cars
