A lovely warm comfortable cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of the village. Everything you could wish for, including an excellent mattress and a good shower. We didnt use our car once during our stay, as there are so many beautiful walks from the doorstep. Thoroughly recommended.

Looking at the next question - to which I would answer "YES", comes with the qualification that it's "so long as they don't want the same dates as the G&S Festival in Buxton.!"

The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and we spent four pleasant days there. The welcome pack was a lovely addition and much appreciated. The only downside was that the parking was a bit tight especially with a larger car.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location. This was our 5th visit to Hartington and our 3rd stay in Manifold Cottage which is very comfortable and well equipped. There are several shops and a couple of pubs within a minutes stroll as well as many beautiful walks from the doorstep including the enchanting Wolfscote Dale.

A comfortable and well positioned cottage in a very beautiful village. Lovely pub right next door and farm shop and YHA at Hartington Hall great for refreshments. A really great break made even more special because of a heavy snowfall during our stay which created a beautiful Winter Winderland!

We had an evening and night with no hot water or heating was able to phone and it was reset pretty quickly. But did make for an uncomfortable night. The blue internet light is very bright at night when trying to get to sleep. On the whole though a very good well situated cottage for exploring the Peak District
