In this delightful two-storey property, the kitchen and dining space is the heart of the home and an inviting space to gather. The kitchen has all you need to rustle up some tasty meals and an island to keep the conversation going. Spend time in the relaxing living room, a beautifully light space with patio doors you can open and look out over the views of your rural surroundings. Snuggle up around the wood burner while watching your favourite movies on the Smart TV. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one king-size and one double. A contemporary shower room completes the property. The cottage is very airy and spacious, plenty of room for 4 people with multiple seating options inside and out. The beds and sofas are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in with plenty of fridge and separate freezer. The views from the majority of the windows of the old barn are spectacular across the valley. The cottage is within easy walking distance to a local pub Jug & Glass, butchers ( also stocks essentials ) and cafes, so ideal as there is no need to use the car all the time. Lovely cottage in quiet peaceful setting. Ideal for walkers, with walks in each direction, with plenty of paths to establish ones that suit you. The living room was cosy and comfortable and had amazing viewssome beautiful sunsets on an evening. A large basket of logs and lots of other useful essentials were supplied together with a welcome pack. There are lots of places nearby to visit so the location is ideal. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful cottage with the most stunning views. The cottage has everything you need or could think of, really nicely decorated and very clean. Lots of great places to visit. Just to warn any future visitors, if you have a large car, there's quite a narrow driveway to get to your cottage, but great parking spot next to the cottage. The Old Barn is a superb cottage overlooking the Derbyshire hills. It has been lovingly restored and furnished. It had everything we could have wished for. The cottage was really clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay there and can't wait to book again.

A beautiful holiday cottage with outstanding views in a very quiet, peaceful location. There are no wardrobes but ample drawers. Really comfortable beds/pillows and large fluffy towels. Everything I can think of is supplied and so much more. If you forget to take something with you it will probably be there for you. Highly recommended.
