We had a great time - old friends meeting up from various parts of the country - the house was clean, comfortable and it had all that we needed. The location was excellent - Tideswell is a lovely village with a decent range of shops, cafes etc. and the second-had book shop is to die for!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. There was lots of space for all of us. Minor glitches with appliances were minor and could be fixed easily by the owners. The weather was kinder than wed expected and we had some great walks nearby.

A beautiful house in a perfect location. Everything you need for a lovely holiday. Its in an ideal location for visiting the Peak District and the village of Tideswell is just a short drive or walk away down a steep hill. The beds are so comfortable and we all slept really well every night! We were there in September and the house never really had Read moreany sun but this may be different in the summer months. The rooms didnt get much light which made it tricky for ladies to apply makeup, I ended up wandering from room to room trying to find enough light near a mirror! A wonderful family get together and we would happily stay there again. Hide

Very spacious and comfortable house. Great facilities. Thoughtful selection of refreshments and basics provided on arrival much appreciated (even though we'd brought our own!). Easy walk down to the village and the walk back up after visiting one of the three pubs is good exercise! The dog really loved the field to run in.
