Gaze out across picture-postcard Derbyshire as you unwind in the hot tub at this special retreat. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom holiday home is set in enchanting surroundings, 2.5 miles from Penistone and 3.5 miles from Stocksbridge. It is also ideally located for those who enjoy hiking, set just 2.5 miles from the outskirts of the Peak District National Park.

Tear yourselves away from the astounding views to head inside the beautiful bolthole. Leave your walking boots and coats in the elegant hall, where there is also access to a WC, before ascending the staircase. Emerge in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has an opulent finish overflowing with comfort. Light the wood burner in here, then settle on the comfortable sofas in front of the Smart TV as it crackles gently in the background. Gaze out at the views as you prepare the next Derbyshire feast over in the kitchen area. When you are ready to stretch out in bed, the two king-size bedrooms are located on either side of the main living area. Each with a sumptuous finish, one of these also has the added benefit of an en-suite shower room and a free-standing bath within the bedroom. Relish the opportunities for indoor/outdoor living that are provided by this enticing abode. Luxuriate in the wood-fired hot tub, toast beside the fire pit and grill supper on the BBQ as you take in the magical views, which include an ancient wildflower meadow. There is ample parking here.

Head into the spectacular national park to follow footpaths and climbing trails. The Trans Pennine Trail’s highest point is 6.5 miles away. The secret Middle Black Clough Waterfall is a distance of 8.5 miles and offers a challenging 2-mile walk. Venture 9 miles to Holmfirth, where the BBC series Last of the Summer Wine was famously filmed.

Loved this place the location is beautiful, the cottage is stunning throughout, and the owners are such nice people and dont bother you but are there whenever you need anything. The grounds are beautiful I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break or a hub to explore the peaks from.

We have a lovely weekend. The lovely attention to detail, the homemade lemon drizzle cake, even the milk in the fridge was just perfect. We especially loved the wood burning hot tub with the beautiful views. Heidi was was quick to respond each time we contacted her. We will definitely go back.

Overall...Excellent!! Very welcoming and friendly owners. Homemade lemon drizzle cake and Prosecco on arrival was definitely a nice touch. Great location and views with all the amenities needed. Would 100% stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Its in the most beautiful location with stunning views and makes you feel secluded but not isolated. We had girls reunion from our time lived in Bahrain, from north and south of England we arrived and met at this location, my friends were impressed at how did I find that hidden gem, it is gorgeous!! Location, area, and surroundings, especially the reservoir nearby with water falls.. the cottage itself is beautiful clean and nicely designed and dRead moreecorated, the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils plates and pans, and the Nespresso coffee we had in the morning was so good. Had a wonderful few days away at this property. Our break was very relaxing, the property is in a peaceful spot. The accommodation was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The views were fantastic from the property. The hot tub was a real bonus and it was lovely to spend an hour as the sun was going down in the tub. What a perfect way to end 2025 and start 2026! The four of us had a wonderful stay at Peak View. The view was even better than we anticipated, and we loved soaking it all in from the hot tub.
