Another wonderful stay despite the weather. The cottage is perfect for our family set up as demonstrated by our repeat bookings over the last 10 years, we have already booked again for 2027. There are so many walks from the door and each year we have found somewhere new to visit. The local shop has everything we need and Bakewell is only a 6 minuRead morete drive away. We also recommend an easy walk to the Wheatsheaf for dinner and the Tea Rooms at Edensor. Hide

Well equipped and clean cottage. Great weekend we had here. Great walks on the doorstep virtually -and decent eateries in the village, although varying opinions about quality of food. The Venison Pie at the Prince of Wales was superb. Locals we met very friendly. Very odd little Co-op, no checkout- only card.
