Lovely cottage, nicely decorated and in a lovely location. The cottage was well stocked for longer stays and had lots of info about the local area. Lots of walks from the village, Birchover circuit recommended. There are 2 lovely pubs and a well stocked community shop. We did have an issue with an unpleasant smell in the hallway for the duration ofRead more our stay which we have raised with the owner so hopefully this will be dealt with for future visitors, but all in all we enjoyed our stay and the log burner made the cottage feel very cosy in the evening. We had no problem at all finding parking outside the cottage for our weeks stay in June. Hide

A very comfy and well equipped cottage in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We did 3 walks from the cottage and had a lovely evening at the very friendly pub - at the top of the hill. The village shop was well stocked and very friendly.

Cute cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage was very clean and well equipped although we didn't do a lot of cooking. Comfy beds. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Great village shop and 2 lovely pubs with friendly staff. I would definitely book again.

Nice property in the heart of the Peak District. Well situated within the village for local amenities and places further afield. Parking in front is an issue but we settled for the road in any case. The garden is safe for a dog but not particularly dog friendly. The house caters for everything you will need during your stay.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village with all amenities. Very well equipped kitchen and cute little outside space for sunnier days. Be aware - parking is on street and not right outside the house.
