This impressive country manor sits just outside the historic town of Chapel-en-le-Frith. Welcoming 12 guests across six luxurious bedrooms, it’s the perfect retreat for a special family get-together or celebration with friends. Set on the fringes of the Peak District, the surrounding landscape is a paradise for walkers, with popular routes such as Eccles Pike, Mam Tor, and Kinder Scout within easy reach. Nearby attractions include Blue John Cavern (6 miles) and Chatsworth House (17 miles).

The three-storey turreted retreat oozes luxury, with elegant decor, chic furniture, plush soft furnishings, and large windows framing far-reaching rural views. From the magnificent reception hall, head through to the inviting lounge with its stunning bay window and roaring wood burner. After a busy day, stretch out on the sumptuous sofa to read a book or catch up on all your favourite programmes on the Sky Glass Smart TV. Also on this floor is a stylish kitchen with all the equipment and worktop space needed to cater for a large group, along with a fabulous dining room with a banquet-style table – perfect for hosting special occasions with family and friends. Rounding off the ground floor is a super-king-size bedroom and a contemporary wet room. A feature staircase leads to the first floor and three stunning bedrooms, including a super-king-size suite with a sofa, Smart TV, wood burner, and dressing room. This room also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with twin baths, a sauna, and separate shower. Another of the super-king-size bedrooms has its own bath within the bedroom, as well as a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. The final bedroom on this level – a twin – also has an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath. The two remaining bedrooms are on the second floor, both with en-suite facilities. One of the second-floor bedrooms leads to a fabulous, glass-fronted balcony with uninterrupted views across the Derbyshire countryside. From the balcony, a cast-iron spiral staircase takes you to the rooftop terrace where you can sip a sundowner and take in the scenery. Back at ground level, an immaculate garden stretches out in front of the property, with sweeping lawns and areas for al fresco dining. You’ll also have two private hot tubs to sink into after a long walk in the Peak District. Ample parking is available on the driveway, behind shared electric gates.

Chapel-en-le-Frith is a picturesque town with quaint cottages and cobbled streets. Journey into the centre (approx. 0.5 miles) to explore its collection of independent shops, high-end restaurants, and traditional pubs. An absolute gem for big groups! Castle Manor is an excellent renovation in a more than accommodating setting, providing the perfect stage for our large group gathering. Surrounded by breathtaking views, which we got to experience privately thanks to the amazing observation decks, it truly provided an above-and-beyond experience for us all. The Read moreowner, Scott, was fantastic. He was incredibly prompt with his replies and always happy to answer our questions. You could really tell he went out of his way to ensure our stay was flawless, which it absolutely was. We made sure to use the facilities (looking at you, the two garden hot tubs!) every chance we got, despite the elements being against us during our stay. It really felt like a home away from home. If we ever head up north again, we know exactly which holiday home we'll be choosing. Thank you so much for having us! Hide

Castle Manor is so luxurious and well situated. The hot tubs and sauna were a bonus. A beautiful garden and all the bedrooms were comfortable and fantastic. The views were amazing, and the roof terrace was terrific.
