Really comfortable, well equipped cottage in an idyllic location. Would highly recommend for a peaceful break. Excellent area for walking and lots of maps and leaflets provided. Beautiful wild flower planting surrounding the cottage.

Getting to and fro was a little awkward, hope your car can manage steep tracks and it was very awkward to get in and out of the farm, maybe hire a tractor

A really lovely cottage which felt spacious and was very comfortable. We came in February and the cottage was lovely and warm - perfect to come home to after tramping around the countryside. Lovely cosy, well equipped cottage for two in a stunning location, with circular walks in fabulous countryside from the doorstep (including excellent pubs for a halfway lunch in Hartington and Crowdecote). The EV charger was useful too.

Lovely, peaceful location. Our rural retreat for the second year running. Having an ev charger on site makes our life so easy. Hosts are friendly, but not "in your face" , which is perfect! They are always happy to help. The wine and tea bags on arrival were welcomed. An added bonus for us is the delivery services of several supermarket chains.... A stunning, characterful little cottage in a wonderful, quiet location. We absolutely loved the view from the garden which exceeded our expectations. The cottage details online should make more of a point of showing this view as it would have brought an immediate end to our search for that perfect place to stay. We loved throwing open the stable doRead moreors to the bedroom first thing in the morning to hear the cacophony of sounds of the countryside. Very well equipped property and highly recommended. Very quiet location (which is why we went), but not too far from the main road. Walks and cycle routes from the property of interest, and maps provided. Lacked some surprising features, such as salt and pepper, clingwrap, tinfoil, kitchen towel - so bring your own! Fast wifi (60Mbps when checked.) Overall, in need of some TLC.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic rural setting. Amazing views. Very remote, but not too difficult to get to. Little garden area perfect for relaxing over a cuppa whilst enjoying the views and watching the sheep at the end of the drive. Perfect size for two.
