The popular Monsal Trail runs by the village, a fantastic walking route taking in some of the very best sights of the Peak District. If you fancy trying your hand at paddleboarding or other water sports, there are plenty of opportunities around here too. For the real active kind, there are plenty of opportunities in the Peak District to try out bouldering, slab climbing, mountaineering and even caving.
