Had a very nice stay at Ostler's Cottage with my partner. Ideal place for a getaway, very clean, comfortable and cozy. The only thing I wasn't so keen on is how close the property was next to the pub which you can't really judge from looking at the photos. The balcony of the pub looks down on to the garden of the cottage so we didn't feel like we hRead moread much privacy when sitting outside, so unfortunately we didn't make the most of the outdoor area. But overall a very pleasant and restful experience, would recommend for a couple's romantic getaway. Hide

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable. Location was perfect for the relaxing break we had planned. So convenient having the pub right there where we had several lovely meals without the need to use the car. This was our second visit which we enjoyed as much as the first. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for many walks and with the benefit of a pub serving meals virtually on the doorstep. Extremely well equipped. Small cottage next to a rather noisy pub kitchen. Well situated for the Dales and surrounding attractions. Could be made much better with grater attention to detail.

Cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Well-equipped close to everything we wanted to do in the area. Food in the coach and horse's was excellent perfect for an end of day drink and evening meal. Field at the back full of sheep was lovely but to be honest the road noise bothered us more than we thought it would. Personal preference.
