At the rear of the cottage, the contemporary kitchen contains all the must-haves of home, including an air fryer and coffee machine. We have just spent 5 days at Fern Cottage and what a lovely place it was. Everything in the property appeared to be new and the owner has thought of everything. It was very comfortable, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with staples plus a lovely basket of bread, scones and milk on arrival. The cottage is in easy walk of Matlock and Matlock BaRead moreth and although on the A6 we didn't notice the traffic once inside. Great place to stay as very easy to explore the area from here plus good walks on your doorstep. Hide

A beautifully decorated and furnished cottage with everything you would need for a short break. Ideally positioned to explore the area, the downside being the busy road and offsite car parking, but minor points.

What a beautiful well equipped cottage. Very clean, cosy and perfectly put together. Everything in working order. I was well impressed with their polite nicely spoken fire alarm speaker, i sprayed deoderant rather generously and set the alarm off for a few moments, very up to date fancy alarm indeed! impressive! i would give the cottage 6 stars buRead moret then too many people would book it and i wouldn't be able to get in there. lol. Absoluetly loved the place. Already recommended to my friends. Hide
