Enter through the inviting hallway, boasting a traditional stone floor that leads to the expansive kitchen/diner. This handmade kitchen, masterfully crafted from seasoned oak planks sourced from the farm, is finished with marble worktops and features a dining table comfortably seating ten. Adjacent to the kitchen, a convenient utility room serves as a space to clean muddy boots after a countryside stroll, along with a practical cloakroom. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a cosy wood burner and glass doors that frame panoramic views of the fields beyond. Climb the original granary stone stairs to the first-floor landing, where the impressive roof space of the original barn comes into view and three comfortable bedrooms await. The family bedroom exudes rustic character and features an en-suite shower room. A double bedroom also boasts an en-suite shower room, while a twin room provides charming views of the garden area and surrounding fields. On the second floor, another twin bedroom with vaulted roof ceilings and Velux windows offers further countryside views. The enclosed garden invites relaxation, featuring a charcoal BBQ and locally crafted garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining accompanied by panoramic views of the national park.

The nearby Tittesworth Reservoir (2.5 miles) offers a circular nature trail, an enticing children's playground, and convenient amenities like a cafe and gift shop. 3 miles away, the Peak Pursuits water sports centre provides an array of aquatic activities, including kayaking and canoeing. The region presents excellent opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, notably, the Roaches rock formation that attracts hikers, bikers and climbers alike, 3 miles from home. We loved staying in Sunrise. It was clean, tidy, and very welcoming. Sunrise itself is clean, comfortable and finished to a high standard with plenty of space to relax inside and outside. The location is convenient for hikes along the Roaches and Ludlow's Church. There are two good pubs in walking distance, the Lazy Trout was a particular favouriteRead more with excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to friends and family. Hide

Pleasant barn conversion done to a very high standard. Well equipped, comfortable and clean. walking from the door, good pub down the road (need to drive). Nice plate of home made scones on arrival and the fire lit ready, plenty of hot water. the only negative is check in time late and check out very early.
