Beautiful location, excellent local shop and the Ashford Arms does really good meals. The Cottage is pretty but lives up to its name, is probably better for 2. Parking a bit tricky, small and on a slope.

Location, they say, is important and this couldn't be better, lovely views from the back in a great unspoilt village near plenty of facilities. Ticked a lot of our requirements too, parking, enclosed garden for dogs, cosy and comfortable. For those less able though there are a few steps and the stair case is quite steep.

Very easy access to nearby playing field for early morning / late evening dog walks. So many walks available from the cottage that the car was not needed for the week.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Comfortable cottage in a picturesque village. Shame about the weather and the boiler breaking down, although a maintenance person is always available to attend.

Cosy little cottage with lots of character and situated in a great position with good views and a pretty garden. Lots of extras provided for a comfortable stay. Guests should be aware that dogs are welcome in this cottage and some 'doggie odour' was detectable.
