There are endless walking trails branching out from the village, including to the popular beauty spot of Monsal Head (2 miles), where you can marvel at the impressive views down the valley, towards the iconic viaduct. Spend a fascinating afternoon at Haddon Hall, exploring the untouched interiors dating back to the 14th century and the spectacular Elizabethan gardens.
