In need of some TLC, black mould on the bathroom wall and rusty radiator. Shame as it would be a lovely little cottage. Great location with lots of walking nearby.

A lovely tiny cosy cottage, had everything we needed! Perfect for the two of us & our doggo (no garden but plenty of grass nearby & dog bin). Comfy beds & the shower was a treat! Only used oven once & very slow so ate at both pubs which were very good. Road parking wasn't an issue as we were mid week. Plenty of walks from the door, would definitelyRead more return! Hide

The cottage is cute, cosy and in a beautiful location. We highly recommend visiting the tearooms next door! The cottage itself is in need of some TLC. It would benefit from a smart TV, and a better equipped kitchen. The oven was very slow so not ideal for eating in. No guidance on what to do with bin bags and dog waste is not ideal and needs to be Read moreadded to the welcome instructions. Although the cottage is in need of some TLC, we would definitely return as it could be made beautiful x Hide

Overall the cottage is cosy, warm and well equipped, although it could do with a little TLC, but we enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed. Location is excellent. Ashford-in-the-water is a lovely, quaint little village which has a shop, 2 pubs serving good food and a wonderful tea room and is close to everywhere we wanted to visit.
