A dog focused review, but would be a lovely base for anyone! Pretty little cottage with comfortable bedrooms and a practical downstairs (all hard floors, and a stairgate to stop dogs/kids running out of front door or going upstairs) Fairly well enclosed garden with flat lawn and powerful outside light for watching dogs on last thing before bed peesRead more! Fabulous walks in the surrounding area, including some from the door, places of interest and friendly pubs and locals - very happy to recommend! Hide

A lovely, well equipped cottage. Very dog friendly - dog towels, bowl and treats provided and downstairs floors tiled so no need to worry about wet paws! Only criticism is that the stair gate was on the lounge door and not on the bottom of the stairs so we had to steer the dogs in through the front door so they didnt go upstairs. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The location was ideal for us as this was mainly a walking holiday with our dog. The owners were very accommodating and communicated very quickly. There is ample parking space unlike some cottages. I would definitely recommend this cottage and we will be returning to it.

The house was lovely and the garden too . The owner Carol who I called regarding availability of a cot and highchair was very friendly and super helpful . Very quiet , private and peaceful cottage . The house is by a road but this did not affect our privacy and was quiet, bar the odd tractor, much to our toddlers delight . The garden is enclosed anRead mored safe for toddlers and dogs so peace of mind for us to relax . Nice walks nearby . Thanks Carol much appreciated x Hide
