Upper Mayfield is on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border on the edge of the Peak District just minutes away from the town of Ashbourne with its Georgian terraces, 13th Century church, cobbled and colourful marketplace, heritage trail, country clothing stores, antique shops plus numerous cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. The stepping stones of Dovedale on the river Dove with its stunning views of Thorpe Cloud are just minutes away, close by is Carsington Water reservoir, perfect for birdwatching, water sports, walking and cycling around its eight-mile perimeter. Visit the Tissington, High Peak and Manifold trails, Chatsworth and the historic town of Bakewell, Alton Towers and National Trust locations of Calke Abbey, Ilam and the Sudbury Museum of childhood are all close by.

Enter into the mid 17th Century stone-built cottage stepping into the bespoke fitted kitchen/diner and feel the warmth radiating from the AGA to give you a wonderful welcome.
