We chose Allmore Cottage because we like to take our two dogs with us and therefore our search is always for a quiet haven with plenty of good walking. This could not have been more perfect for us - the cottage was better equipped and comfortably furnished than any we had ever visited in the past. We loved it and are already thinking of a possible Read morereturn in 2019. Norah and Terry are the perfect hosts - unobtrusive but caring. Hide

The cottage was in ideal location for us, far enough away from busy roads etc, but easy driving distance to shops and places of interest....we have booked again for next year

The cottage was absolutely perfect and the owners made us feel very welcome. Everything is done to a very high standard, the bed is comfortable and the shower absolutely blissful. There are plentiful books around and thoughtful little touches throughout make you feel like you are at home here rather than holiday let. We wouldnt hesitate to return.

Beautifully presented cottage in lovely setting. Friendly owners who are always there to advise if asked for information. Set in 14 acres so not overlooked, apart from the very active bird life and 4 cows. Totally enclosed for the dog to have a run without fear of actually meeting the cows! Reliable, strong WiFi and Sky TV a real bonus. Large bathrRead moreoom with a whirlpool bath and stand alone shower. We had a great week as theres plenty of good walking and dog friendly restaurants. This has to be the best cottage we have ever stayed in with out a doubt,it had every thing. Home from home, and so very comfortable. Our two dogs loved every moment especially that wood burning fire. Would definitely come back again, and recommend friends and family.
