Positioned on the edge of the popular village of Cromford guests can explore the local countryside on foot along the various routes that lead from the doorstep, including the famous High Peak visitors centre, the Cromford Canal, and the High Peak trail leading to the Black Rocks and Tissington Trail. The famous Chatsworth House and Gardens along with Haddon Hall are within a short drive and well worth a visit. See the landscape from up about by taking a ride on the Heights Of Abraham cable car at Matlock Bath. For an afternoon of exploring, the pretty market town of Bakewell on the River Wye is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Situated next to the A6 and easily accessed via the M1 motorway or the railway's station of Belper, Matlock or Whatstandwell this property is a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park.
