This cottage is within easy reach to plenty of attractions including Carsington Watersports, Chatsworth House, Gullivers Kingdom and the Blue John Mines to name a few and the nearby town of Matlock is definitely worth a visit during your stay. Matlock is a charming town with a wealth of restaurants, shops and welcoming pubs as well as boasting handsome architecture and pretty streets.

One of sixteen properties located around a picturesque lake and within 10 acres of woodland, this is a spacious holiday home with modern interiors that provide a contemporary feel to the property. The lounge is complete with a flat screen TV and the open plan kitchen/diner provides a great space for cooking up a storm and catching up over dinner. Upstairs there are three bedrooms that are great for catching forty winks after a fun day. One bedroom has a double bed and an additional single bed and en-suite shower room with WC, one bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with WC and the third bedroom has two single beds. There is also a third bathroom on the first floor with a shower over bath and WC.

All guests are welcome to enjoy the 10 acres of communal areas and lakes with picnic benches that are spread throughout the site and there is ample off road parking. If you are planning to pick up some local produce, there is a farm shop within a mile of the property and a local pub only four miles away.

We stayed here with another family and child. It was warm, comfy, had amazing views and a short distance from some great attractions. Would stay again!
