The cottage was very warm and comfortable and in a lovely position. There is a fairly busy railway line close by which some people may find intrusive. It states in the cottage details that the field in front of the property could be used for ball games and exercising your dogs. We were disappointed to discover upon arrival that this is only possiblRead moree if it is not being used for livestock, unfortunately this was the case during our stay. These points should be mentioned on the cottage details. Hide

Barn cottage is a really nice building in a fantastic location. Have absolutely no issues whatsoever with the property, location and the owner is a very nice, friendly person. We were unfortunately quite unlucky with the weather and were staying there when the nearby Dam in Whaley Bridge was damaged due to very high rainfall! The cotttage though isRead more fantastic!!!! Barn Cottage is extremely warm and cosy, particularly considering that the cottage is so large and such an old building. Delightful accommodation with very helpful owner. A most amazing hamper was left for the Christmas break which was greatly appreciated. Comfortable beds and very clean and cosy. Great area for walking.

A lovely traditional cottage, very cosy with a lovely open fire. Had everything we needed and was in a great location. The cottage was secluded but also close to the village across the fields on foot or easy by car. Great views and walks nearby.

The cottage was lovely and secluded, yet still very close to many of the places that we wanted to visit. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Lovely fireplace and cosy lounge.
