A delightful picturesque property offering guests an intimate rural retreat in a lovely quiet village with easy access to the whole of the Peak District. Exposed beams give this property a real sense of character.

Explore the rolling Peak District countryside from this romantic and rural retreat in the village of Bradbourne. Oozing with character and close to numerous walks, cycling trails and adrenaline-fuelled activities, this bolthole is the perfect spot for your Peak District holiday.

 

From the outside, this pretty stone-built cottage is adorned with flowers and it just waiting to welcome you in. Inside, it is contemporary and stylish throughout. Stone flagged floors and exposed beams bring out the property’s character, contrasted by contemporary furnishings and decor. Head home after a busy day hiking or cycling and rustle up a delicious home cooked meal and enjoy it together at the dining table. Upstairs is a spacious and bright bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower and heated floor. Outside is a pretty courtyard area with patio seating, ideal for sipping on a glass of wine as the sun sets. There is secured bike storage available at this property too.

 

On the cusp of the Peak District, you’ll be close to an abundance of activities on offer here. Take a walk from the doorstep into the national park and soak up the remarkable surroundings. Whether you prefer hill climbs, mountain biking or gentle rides, cyclists will love the trails that head from here and into and around the Peak District. The reservoir of Carsington Water is 4 miles away, with lots to do including boating, fishing and other water sport activities. If you are feeling adventurous, visit one of the many activity centres in the Peak District and enjoy abseiling, scrambling and even zip line adventures.

Location - in the driveway to the owners home. Very clean throughout but living room furniture had stains on the arms of the sofa and on the cushion covers . Living room not very private due to the glass front door facing the owners home . Bedroom open plan and very big. Linen very nice . No large mirror only a hand held one. Owner left a note to sRead moreay boiler was being serviced during our stay and would require access to the property . I think they could have organised it when it was vacant Hide

Beautiful. Cosy. Convenient. I loved everything - it's so COSY. I'd highly recommend it. A word of advice - the TV is not smart but it has an HDMI dongle so bring a Fire Stick if you can! The WiFi sits at 30mbp download and upload which is more than enough.

A lovely positioned barn conversion in a pretty and peaceful area. Good facilities, Neff appliances in the kitchen. Immediate hot water. Excellent shower. Well presented and clean property. A new sofa/suite and mattress for the bed will be required at some point in the near future. We loved it here and would book here again!

Excellent little cottage and very well equipped with good quality oven hob microwave etc. comfortable with fab en suite. Location out of the way in a beautiful setting but close enough to all the Peak adventures. Not a Smart tv and no dvd so nights in are main stream and box channels. There is Wi-Fi so can stream via laptop though which is what we Read moredid with no issue. Hide

Beautiful location in small village. Very quiet and private, but owners very helpful if needed. An upstairs multi purpose room is light and delightful. Very modern and efficient range of bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Very good quality kitchen with Neff appliances. Plenty of room in the cottage. Easy location to find with good access to the lower end of the Peak District.

The location was very peaceful and the property was fitted out with quality equipment and well maintained. The light and airy upstairs seating area and well stocked bookcase were a nice touch.
