It was OK for the price. To be fair, for what we paid for a cottage in the Peak District in August it was OK. In my opinion it's not 4* -we arrived to have to wash glasses and plates before we used them, the kitchen utensils lacked basic things like a peeler. The fridge was iffy and leaked water. We took our dog so we shut the gate so he couldn't gRead moreet out only to find everyone from the pub next door left the gate open whenever they came in and out. it did have a comfy bed though. The cottage is very nice with great facility The pub next door is nice with warm meals I do have a but we took our dog and tbh it wasnt really dog friendly as there no outside area for the dog to go toilet there literally and ally way to the front door and pub staff also use this and leave the gate open so we couldnt let him out on his own. But it Read moredidnt ruin the holiday its just a shame there no garden space. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Was very cosy for our Christmas break away. Kitchen is fully equipped and we managed to cook our Christmas dinner with no problems. We didnt see or hear from the owners atRead more all which didnt effect our enjoyment of our holiday but it lacked the personal touch. But I would definitely recommend this cottage. Hide
