A warm and cosy property set in the heart of the Buxton with everything you need a short walk away and located in a stunning region to explore.

Buxton is a Victorian spa and festival town, with the property situated within very easy walking distance of an array of shops, pubs and restaurants and the myriad of the Peak District footpaths to discover. Take a walk up to the famous Kinder Scout or enjoy a low-level amble around the beautiful Ladybower reservoir which is a sight. This property is perfectly located to explore the cultural pleasures such as the Devonshire Dome which is a street away, or head to the Opera House, visit Buxton Museum, stroll through the majestic Pavilion Gardens, take a spa treatment at the famous Grade 1 listed Crescent Hotel or fill your bottle from St Ann’s Well’s constantly-flowing 28°C natural spring water.

Tucked away in the depths of Buxton you will find your home away from home. This property is all you need for a cracking family trip. The lounge offers comfort and space aplenty with a large corner sofa and two-seater sofa all set around the electric fire and smart TV. What more could you ask for an evening in? The kitchen/diner is the heart of the house and a chef’s dream with plenty of worktop space to get the whole family involved. You will find a range cooker with two electric ovens, a grill and five-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Just before you head up to the first floor is the utility room with washing machine and plenty of drying space. There is also a WC and cloakroom to hang your coats after a walk around the Victorian Corbar Woods at the end of the road. On the first floor, we have a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite with walk-in shower and WC. There is also a double and single room along with a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy a lovely evening under the stars. There is private parking for at least two cars.

Location was excellent for town, a few minutes away. Standard of decoration and equipment provided was fabulous. Welcome pack was very useful, little touches really made it special.

Absolutely fabulous. The property is exceptionally well presented and has everything you could need and more. The owners extra touches like flowers and a welcome pack were lovely additions. We would definitely recommend this property.

We have stayed in over 20 holiday cottages. This the best cottage we have stayed at, cottage spotless, every thing you needed.Owner was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again The welcome pack was so comprehensive, maps and directions to bluebell house were the best we have ever seen

Wonderful home from home. Perfect location for visiting anywhere in the Dale's. Can walk into Buxton and see this beautiful town, with lots of places to eat. Try Bacchus restaurant great food! Visit lovely Bolsover Castle and for national trust properties go to Hardwick House. You won't find a better Cottage in the dales, the owners Jane and AndrewRead more have carefully thought of everything to make your visit perfect. You will not be disappointed, I personally recommend you book this property. Hide

A really lovely cottage, great location-very short walk into town and easy access to all the peaks have to offer. The cottage is very comfortable and warm has everything you need and the hosts are keen to help.

A true home from home. The property is exceptionally spacious and comfortable and just a short walk away from the town centre. It is very well equipped and furnished. We can thoroughly recommend it and hopefully will be back before too long.
