A wonderful location and cottage. Provided with everything a home needs including fresh eggs from the farm opposite. Very clean rightly so in these difficult times.

Stunning cottage in a picturesque location lots to visit and explore especially the English Heritage sites which are dotted about the only downside is my husband is 6ft tall and because of the nature of cottages there is not much head space when going through doors!!! but it adds to the charm the garden is gorgeous with stunning views.

Very well cleaned before our arrival, which under current Covid circumstances, this was much appreciated. We are not tall but I managed to hit my head on doorways upstairs three times, so, mind your head!

Best holiday cottage we have stayed in. 5 star luxury and beautiful location. We particularly liked the garden which overlooked a typical Peak District landscape.

We loved the cottage, which was wonderfully characterful, and the location which provided a quiet spot but with access to lots of walks. And the garden was great for sitting in and relaxing whilst listening to the sheep. We will be back.

A cosy period cottage with low doorways which means you have to duck. Very well equipped and beautifully renovated. A lovely setting in a picturesque village. Unexpected chicken coop at the rear of the cottage belonging to the neighbours. Rear garden down a gravel pathway. Overall an enjoyable stay - the skylight just needs sorting out!

The cottage was really lovely and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean which is really important in these Covid-19 times. We didn't have the best weather but we found the heat really reponsive just to boost the temperature for a short time.

A beautiful character cottage located in a rural area, yet close to all the amenities that you need. There are walks straight from your door - and easy access to main town and the peaks for beautiful remote walks. There is nothing that you will need to bring - it really is home from home. This was a lovely place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. A real home from home. Tall guests might wish to be aware of the low doorways though if they would find this a problem.

The cottage offered us an apeasing way of reconnecting with the country we deeply love, distanced from recent hurtful xenophobic attitudes against Europeans. A very nicely decorated cute cottage offering a treasured reparative retreat...

Comfortable, cosy, character cottage which has been very nicely modernised and decorated. Just what we needed for a holiday off the beaten track with our adult daughter. Very low internal door heights on some doors added character (and a few bruises!), but otherwise rooms felt very cosy and comfortable.
