This charming detached bungalow enjoys a wonderful village location with a canal and woodland backdrop. Set in spacious grounds, there is plenty of room to explore, relax and offers ample parking.

This detached bungalow nestles on a hillside location above the village close to the neighbouring canal and woodland backdrop but at the same time enjoying some lovely views across the valley towards Crich.

Set in its own spacious grounds the bungalow all one level but accessed from some external steps has recently been considerably improved throughout to provide very comfortable accommodation.

You enter the property from steps into the newly fitted kitchen with all the essentials you will require for your stay. A door to the rear goes to the hall off which are the remaining rooms the two bedrooms one with a double bed the second having two singles. The bathroom has a bath with shower over toilet and hand basin. The lounge dining room is a very good size with gas coal effect fire, taking in patio garden views and beyond.

A very large, pleasant property. Sadly, the canal is no longer viable and is very overgrown. There aren't any Convenience stores in the immediate area, so a little forward planning is a must.

Excellent property, extremely helpful & friendly owners, lots of advice, & lots of parking. Well furnished, comfy beds, & sofas. Canal Inn 0.5m away, Excavator Pub 0.8m away, station 1.2m away. Bus service to Tramway Museum (10.40ish going & 16.04ish return) - Matlock Bath, Derby etc. accessible by train. TV included Freesat Channels to watch live Read more(but not record), and standard DVD player. Large fridge and freezer. Helpful info folder and leaflets. Would gladly go back there again! Hide

The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of leaflets about the area. A real home from home. The local shop was 'quirky' but not stocking a great deal. Lovely lady in there but best to check the times of opening. Supermarkets are in Belper and Ripley but you need a car. Unfortunately the weather was very wet which stRead moreopped us going out some days but made the cottage very warm and cosy to stay in. If we get the chance to return hopefully the weather will be kinder. Hide
