A lovely comfortable old fashioned little cottage in a lovely village. Warm and helpful welcome from the owner's mother who lives next door. Very convenient for walks from the door, and within easy reach of the southern Peak District. Pub next door is excellent, dog friendly and great food, one pub room is basic village shop.

Cute little cottage in a lovely quiet village! Everything you will need is provided. Not much to do in parwhich but pub with a basic shop is there. Places are only 15/30 mins drive so no issue for us. Thanks for the lovely stay

Lovely cottage in a good location with Pub/shop so close as well as the British Legion club up the road. Some nice walks around the village and some lovely attractions a short drive away. Very relaxing and would definitely go back.

Church Gate Cottage is a tiny , snug cottage, with a big welcome. The village and garden are so picturesque it could have been a "film set". Local people were very friendly and the village pub that doubles as a shop serves very good tasty food. All adds up to a super holiday
